A BILL to amend article fourteen, chapter five of the code of West Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, by
adding thereto a new section, designated section twelve, relating to continuing the West Virginia commission for the deaf and hard-of-hearing.
Be it enacted by the Legislature of West Virginia:
That article fourteen, chapter five of the code of West
Virginia, one thousand nine hundred thirty-one, as amended, be
amended by adding thereto a new section, designated section twelve,
to read as follows:
ARTICLE 14. WEST VIRGINIA COMMISSION FOR THE DEAF AND HARD-OF-
HEARING.
ยง5-14-12. Termination of the West Virginia commission for the deaf
and hard-of-hearing.
Pursuant to the provisions of article ten, chapter four of
this code, the West Virginia commission for the deaf and hard-of-hearing shall continue to exist until the first day of July, one
thousand nine hundred ninety-nine.
NOTE: The purpose of this bill is to create a new section
within this chapter. The bill also allows for the continuation of
the West Virginia Commission for the Deaf and Hard-of Hearing until
July 1, 1999, pursuant to the provisions of the West Virginia
Sunset Law.
This section is new therefore no strike throughs were
necessary.
